Meet Jean:
My husband and I chose to make Lehi our home because of this incredible community. We were drawn here by the family-centered values, the sense of connection, and the promise of a place where our three children could thrive. We opened Utah Veterinary Hospital, and built a successful business. Along the way, we’ve seen first-hand the dedication of parents, teachers, and neighbors working together to make this community great.
Jean's Priorities:
Aspen Peaks has a rare opportunity. As a brand-new school district, we can get it right from the start. This is our chance to build great schools that reflect the values of our community—schools where every student can succeed, parents are valued partners, and teachers have the support they need to excel.
For me, that means three key priorities:
✔️ Student Success
Fund classrooms—not bloated administration.
Focus on reading, writing, and math.
Promote accountability and reduce distractions.
Keep classrooms free from political agendas.
✔️ Parental Involvement
Respect parents as the primary educators.
Give parents a seat at the table.
Strengthen partnerships between parents and teachers.
✔️ Teacher Excellence
Cut red tape and bloated bureaucracy.
Equip teachers with tools to teach.
Support teachers who uphold standards of academic excellence.
There are many candidates in this race—some with experience in education, which I deeply respect. But what sets me apart is my ability to stay laser-focused on these priorities and to bring a parent and business perspective to the decisions that will shape our schools.
This is our moment to get it right. Together, we can give Aspen Peaks students the excellent start they deserve and build great schools from day one.
